Our current work centres on the Kahuzi-Biega – Itombwe Corridor, which we are building with our partner Strong Roots Congo, alongside our long-standing support for the Kahuzi-Biega Environmental School and the Batwa communities around the park.

Donate Frequent Flyer Miles
It is extremely expensive to fly to the Congo, but it is also vitally important that we visit our programs at least once a year. Our representatives travel at their own expense and so are limited in the number of times they are able to go. If your frequent flyer miles are transferable, consider donating them to a Forest Health Alliance representative for travel to the eastern Congo.

In Brazil’s Javari Valley, the community association ACUATAN (Associação das Comunidades Unidas de Atalaia do Norte) is building Rádio Javari FM to connect Indigenous and local communities across the region. If you would like to support this work, you can give to ACUATAN directly.
Donations made through ACUATAN’s website go directly to ACUATAN in Brazil. They are not processed by the Forest Health Alliance or the University of Toronto Congo Conservation and Health Fund, and are not eligible for a Canadian tax receipt.
